gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 will welcome exhibitors from a record 29 countries and regions when it opens at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) on 29 October, the most international line-up in the show’s history.
With 20 national pavilions, government agencies and industry delegations from 12 markets, the mix of European, North American and Asian exhibitors cements the show as Asia’s premier destination where the Eastern and Western games industries meet to do business. The Indonesia Pavilion (Ministry of Creative Economy), the Japan Pavilion (JETRO), the Malaysia Pavilion (Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation) and the United States Pavilion (U.S. Embassy Bangkok), join pavilions from Austria (Advantage Austria), Germany (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy), the Philippines (Department of Trade and Industry), South Korea (KOCCA), Spain (ICEX) and host nation Thailand (Thai Game Association). South Korea brings the largest contingent, with six delegations led by KOCCA and regional agencies from Busan, Daejeon and Jeonnam. Delegations from Japan (CANTEEN, MIXI Global Investments), China (Gamirror Games) and Taiwan (Taipei Computer Association) complete the line-up.
The line-up reflects the show’s unique composition and strength that sets it apart from other events in Asia. In combining gamescom’s global business network with the reach of Southeast Asia’s largest consumer gaming show, it gives Western studios a direct route into Asia’s fastest-growing markets and Asian developers a stage in front of global publishers and investors. The 2025 edition welcomed 206,159 attendees from 95 countries, including 5,590 business visitors from 81 countries, and generated more than THB 1.22 billion in business negotiations.
“National pavilions only get backing when there is a clear business case. For the German games industry, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show is exactly that. This is where East meets West in games. For Asian developers, it is the most direct route to international partners. For Western studios, it is the front door to some of the world’s fastest-growing games markets.” – Felix Falk, Managing Director at game – The German Game Industry Association
“As representatives of the host nation’s association, we look forward to bringing the region together at gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show, together with other major ASEAN country pavilions from Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines. With that, gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show has truly become the regional meeting point for Southeast Asia’s games industry. There is no other place where Southeast Asia’s leading games markets come together at this scale, under one roof, alongside the world’s major gaming nations. For developers, publishers, investors and players, that makes Bangkok the place to be and see where Southeast Asian gaming is heading next.” – Kittipong Prucksa-aroon, President of the Thai Games Association (TGA)
